Hello, I’m Meho
I'm a brand designer and writer based in Nairobi. I run Studio Meho — an independent practice building brand identities rooted in culture, systems thinking, and storytelling.

Over the past 3+ years I've worked across brand strategy, visual identity, UX, and editorial design — helping founders, startups, and entrepreneurs across SaaS, entertainment, and e-commerce build things that feel like they mean something. I work exclusively with open-source and freemium tools. Premium work, no Adobe tax.

Writing runs parallel to the design practice. I've been published by Bano Tano: Voices of the Revolution, with a recent prose piece accepted for publication by Lolwe. I run Mifumo — a publication exploring design, culture, and systems. The question underneath everything I make is the same: why is this like that?

Founder & Lead Designer

At Studio Meho, I conduct user studies and trial runs, brainstorm ideas, sketch blueprints, and craft refined user experiences and interfaces for both mobile and the Web. I collaborate closely with engineers, product supervisors, and key stakeholders to design data-driven, user-centered experiences. My work primarily focuses on brand and design systems, ensuring consistency and quality across all platforms.
